Help via Instant Messenger

A reference librarian is available to provide assistance via instant messenger during regular Skillman reference hours during the semester, and from 9am - 5pm during breaks. Add LafLibRef to your IM buddy list to chat in real-time with a librarian using AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) or Yahoo Messenger. If you do not have instant messenger software on your computer, use AOL's Web-based instant messenger, AIM Express, or just use the Meebo chat box over on the right.

This service is intended to offer brief reference assistance to Lafayette students, faculty, and staff. Those seeking more extensive research assistance are urged to make a PRA appointment with a librarian.
