Featured question: How do I find a primary source?
The answer to this is a big "it depends"—upon what field you're working in and just what you're looking for. The library has databases and book series that provide access to primary sources—one of our favorites is Historic Documents—and a series of web guides on how to find and evaluate these. Plus we have a collection of manuscripts, rare books, and the institutional records of the college in Special Collections and College Archives on the second floor of Skillman. But if you're having trouble finding a primary source for your paper or project, probably the best course of action is to stop at the research desk at Skillman and ask a librarian for help.
