Director of Research and Instructional Services, Lijuan Xu, to Serve on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Institute Task Force of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL)

Lijuan Xu, Director of Research & Instructional Services, has been appointed by the President of the  Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) to the ARL Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Institute Task Force. The responsibilities of the Task Force include assisting ARL staff on the institute curriculum and faculty selection, advising on the institute implementation, assessment, and evaluation, and providing feedback and recommendations to the DEI Committee and ARL staff. The DEI institute and the work of the Task Force are supported by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services Laura Bush 21 st Century Librarian Program.
