Ben is a member of the Libraries’ Research & Instruction team, teaching Information Literacy classes across the curriculum and providing research help to students, faculty, and staff. Ben oversees the Libraries’ collection strategies, which includes book, e-book, and streaming video acquisition as well as the management of electronic resources such as databases, journal subscriptions, and digital archive collections. Ben also leads the Libraries’ Course Affordability Initiative, including the student Open Education Fellowship and a grant program encouraging faculty to consider affordable textbooks and other materials for their courses.
