Joel Pearce

Joel oversees the Resource Management & Systems department, which encompasses acquisitions, budgeting, cataloging and metadata, electronic records, licensing, serials, and library software and technology. He manages the library’s key systems including the FOLIO library management system, VuFind public catalog, and EZProxy server for off-campus access. Joel frequently collaborates with each library department for technical and resource assistance, as RMS provides essential support for many library services. Joel assists students and faculty at the research help desk and he also serves as the librarian collection liaison to the anthropology and sociology, music, psychology, and religious studies departments.
