“Librarians as Co-Teachers and Curators: Integrating Information Literacy in a Studio Art Course at a Liberal Arts College,” co-authored by Lijuan Xu (associate director of research and instructional services) and Nestor Gil (assistant professor of art), was recently selected as one of the top 20 library instruction articles for 2017 by the the Library Instruction Round Table. The article, which was published in Art Documentation, describes how the pair collaborated to integrate information literacy into Art 206: Materials and Methods.
