In honor of Women’s History Month, Special Collections & Archives will display recently acquired materials that highlight women’s achievements in science, and increase the visibility of women in engineering, math, and the natural sciences. While women have made significant strides in representation across all disciplines in recent years, challenges remain in particular within engineering-related disciplines. Collecting rare printed material by women in the sciences is a new focus for Special Collections at Skillman Library, and is intended to increase the visibility of women’s contributions to fields that share an emphasis on computation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
To view the materials on display, visit Special Collections & Archives on the second floor of Skillman Library.
