As part of Earth Month, come see the short (20 min) film, Insect Apocalypse, which looks at why insects are declining and how native plants can save them. After the film we’ll have a panel to discuss the issues broadly and past and future efforts on campus as well as at LaFarm.
Presenters include Professor David Brandes, Civil & Environmental Engineering; Kylie Bailin, Skillman Library; Josh Parr, LaFarm Director; & student Maddy Lebish ’23.
Following the panel, we’ll take a tour of some of the native trees and native plant gardens on campus. The event will take place on April 12th at 4:15pm in the Gendebien Room (Skillman 206) and refreshments will be available.
