The Libraries have purchased Taking India, How the Military Established Company Rule, 1752-1774, a digital archive of papers from two key East India Company employees. The papers cover the transfer of power from the Mughal Empire to the British Empire, including key battles, hiring of Indian workers, and how these employees and their compatriots viewed the events taking place.
