As Digital Initiatives Developer, I am responsible for the maintenance and development of the Libraries’ digital collection application, including the Lafayette Digital Repository, several Omeka-S-based exhibition websites, and the continued support of existing bespoke web applications. This position is a full-stack one, which requires the knowledge of several AWS backend services as well as familiarity with several programming languages (Ruby, Javascript, PHP). While I interface with ITS staff regularly for support issues, these are mostly infrastructure-related, and I am responsible for troubleshooting problems at the application level.
