Nora is available to consult with faculty, students, and staff on:

As Product Owner for the Lafayette Digital Repository, the Libraries’ access platform for scholarly communication and digital collections, Nora coordinates with software developers, internal and external stakeholders, and open source repository software communities to direct the strategy and implementation of the Lafayette Digital Repository. As part of a team that includes DSS, SCCA, and faculty colleagues, Nora collaborates on digital collections and projects that document and share the history of the College and region and further the scholarship of our students and faculty.

As Digital Archivist, Nora manages the Libraries’ digital preservation program. She conducts projects to improve digital aspects of archival processing and descriptive workflows, mitigate risk and ensure the sustained access and usability of the Libraries’ digital assets over time, and to develop the College Archives born-digital records program. She also performs preservation assessments of audiovisual holdings in College Archives & Special Collections.

Nora creates and enhances metadata, and writes metadata policies for digital collections. She designs and executes projects that increase interoperability of metadata among internal and external library systems, including ArchivesSpace, the LDR, and the Library catalog.Nora also tracks and collects faculty scholarship, and consults with faculty on research data management planning, publishing metrics, open access and copyright concerns.
