The Libraries’ basic subscription to the Washington Post can be accessed by going through the link from our Research Tools page, but users can also create a personal account that allows them to connect through the Washington Post app on their personal devices.
Activating Washington Post digital access
- Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com/subscribe/signup to sign-up with your lafayette.edu email address in the first field provided. Do not use the other options (i.e. Amazon, Google, Facebook, Apple)
- Once registered, click on your name in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click “My Post”
- Click “Manage Account” in the upper right of the page (next to the gear icon).
- Make sure your email address is Verified, if not, click “Send verification email”. If your email address is verified, you will not see this prompt.
- Once verified, click over to the “Subscription & Billing” tab under the Manage Account option on the My Post page.
- Click “Activate free digital access”.
- When complete you will see a message that reads “Access provided by Lafayette.”
- You can now use your lafayette.edu email address to sign into The Washington Post app on your personal devices and/or in a browser.
