Zotero uses a browser connector that interfaces with the Zotero 5.0 desktop app to capture data for your references. Make sure to download both pieces of software. The download page will automatically detect the browser you're using. Chrome and Firefox are the recommended browsers for Zotero. If you use Safari, Internet Explorer, or another browser, click on "Zotero Connectors for other browsers" and choose the "bookmarklet" option.
