The Lafayette College Libraries welcomes inquiries about the donation of books, manuscripts, and other materials that are within the scope of our collection. In order to properly evaluate offers for the general collection, before sending materials, we ask that prospective donors send a list of titles/materials to refdesk@lafayette.edu. The Libraries will accept those donations deemed to meet our collecting guidelines established to support the College’s teaching and research missions. Any donations that we accept are done so with the understanding that the materials become the property of Lafayette College and as such, the Libraries reserve the right to determine the retention, location, cataloging treatment, and other considerations related to the use of the material.
We are deeply grateful to all of our donors. We will gladly provide a gift acknowledgement letter to all donors upon request.
