Skillman Library has several copies of “Hidden Figures”, Lafayette’s community reading, available for checkout. The book, by author Margot Lee Shetterly, details the work and lives of 4 African American women — Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson, and Christine Darden — who worked at NASA as mathematicians during the height of the Space Race era.
