Lafayette’s Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) and Special Collections and College Archives (SC&CA) are partnering to host a local instance of the Library of Congress Douglass Day transcribe-a-thon. Drop in with us on February 14th in the Gendebien room, any time between 8:30am and 3:30pm, to help transcribe, and review crowdsourced transcriptions of letters from Frederick Douglass’ personal correspondence. The Library of Congress (LoC) speaker live stream will be broadcast from 12pm to 3pm.
