The Guest Borrowing Program provides borrowing privileges for one year for community members  who are 16 or older. Valid ID or parental permission is required.

Due to licensing restrictions, the Guest Borrowing Program does not include remote access privileges to the Library’s electronic resources or access to interlibrary loan. If you want to use our databases in the library, please consult a research librarian or see the circulation desk for a temporary guest account.

Borrowing privileges

Borrow books for four weeks and DVDs/Blu-rays for one week.

Renewals

Items can be renewed online twice if not needed by another user. Your username is your barcode.

Holds

Holds may be placed on items that are available or checked out by clicking on “Place Hold” on the item record in the library catalog. The Libraries will notify the user when the material is available for their use.

Overdues

There are no overdue fines. The Libraries will assume that an item is lost if it is 4 weeks or more overdue. Bills for lost materials include charges for replacement costs and processing fees.
