This summer, Lafayette, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore College Libraries are seeking students interested in the field of library and information science to participate in a week-long paid internship (Monday, May 22- Friday, May 26). The goal is to introduce students from minoritized groups to the field of Library and Information Science (LIS). Through a series of workshops and activities, we will explore connections between librarianship and social justice, LIS career options, and LIS graduate programs. A $500 stipend will be given to participating students. Transportation, food, and lodging will also be covered. Space is limited to three attendees.
