This summer, Lafayette, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore College Libraries are seeking students interested in the field of library and information science to participate in a week-long paid internship (Monday, May 22- Friday, May 26). The goal is to introduce students from minoritized groups to the field of Library and Information Science (LIS). Through a series of workshops and activities, we will explore connections between librarianship and social justice, LIS career options, and LIS graduate programs. A $500 stipend will be given to participating students. Transportation, food, and lodging will also be covered. Space is limited to three attendees. Deadline for submitting applications is April 30th. For more information or questions, please contact Ana Ramirez Luhrs (email@example.com).
