November is National Native American Heritage Month, which pays tribute to the living culture, rich ancestry, and traditions of the indigenous peoples of North America. To commemorate this month, the Library will be featuring a series of events and displays, listed below.

November 1st – November 30th: Indigenous Author Book Display in Skillman Browsing Area

 

 

November 3rd: Lecture by Professor Andrea Smith – “Celebrating Deception?: Pennsylvania Commemorates the Walking Purchase of 1737”

 

 

November 9th: Film Screening of “Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World” (co-sponsored by the Department of Music)
